Accessibility by people with visual impairments and other disabilities is built into Digital Fife.
Features such as screenreader compatibility, user control of font size and contrast, the facility to read aloud pages and automatic translation ensure Digital Fife websites can be used by all.
Digital Fife websites consistently score highly on internationally recognised accessibility tests.
Members meet at the Studio, a dedicated space on the top floor of Castlehill Community Centre which can be accessed through a door with disabled access, to the right of the extension at the rear of the building. A stairway then leads to the top floor.
The Community Centre can be reached by turning up Castle Hill on the right side of the Corn Exchange from St Catherine Street (part of the main A91 route) in the centre of Cupar. Car parking at the rear of the Community Centre is private and for the use of users of the building only. Just drive through the opening to the left of the building. There are also some spaces on the left hand side to the front of the building.
The Studio provides a number of facilities. It is a light, spacious room with working tables and easels. There is a large mountboard cutter, a printing press for lino prints etc, and items for sale including paper, mountboard, framing accessories and art supplies.
We have a lending library of art books and magazines together with tea & coffee making facilities.
We usually meet on Monday afternoons and Wednesday evenings, but members can work in the studio and use the facilities at any time by arrangement.
