WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
Throughout the year we run a variety of workshops, demonstrations and other events. Local and visiting artists are invited to demonstrate the use of various media and techniques and to lead evening, half day and full day workshops. We arrange sketching and painting days out as well as trips to art galleries and other interesting venues. Details are circulated to members in advance and are also placed here and on our facebook page.

Recent Events
On Wednesday 7th May, Dundee artist Pauline Lavery illustrated a talk on "My Dundee" with many of her beautiful and creative artworks depicting Dundee's buildings, landmarks, industries, worthies, songs and folklore. A former art teacher and a working artist, Pauline paints mainly in acrylics and watercolour. All who attended enjoyed the evening, summed up by the comment, "It was a really interesting talk and such individual and creative work. Those that did not come missed a good one!"
On Saturday 7th June we had a very enjoyable visit to Perth Art Gallery which has recently reopened.
On Monday 16th June Isabel Copland demonstrated mount cutting and framing in preparation for our ANnual Exhibition at the end of August.
On Saturday 12th July we spent part of a very warm and sunny day sketching in Craigtoun Country Park near St Andrews.
